After 15 years in the concrete construction business, in the Chicago area, the Johnson Family loaded up their horses and moved to Oshkosh purchasing the old Saddle and Leather Shop at 10th and Oregon Street in 1971.
    Over the next 8 years they successfully operated their retail saddlery operations in Oshkosh, and managed Hall Saddlery Co. in Milwaukee. In 1978 they sold their interest in the retail store and Bob traveled Northeast Wisconsin and the U.P as a manufacturing representative for a barn equipment company. It was during that time that Bob and Wick Buildings were introduced to each other. It was a matter of instant mutual respect and admiration.
    Bob has been quoted as saying, "I've been around a long time, and seen lot of buildings, all sizes and styles. I have never seen a better built building than Wick puts on the ground, and their service after the sale is excellent."
    Now after 18 years of representing Wick in the Fox Valley and 20 years pouring concrete again, Bob Johnson looks forward to working with his Fox Valley clients for their design/build needs.
